That's awesome. I like the way the floor coating goes a foot up the wall. Are the walls coated with something to protect them if they get wet?

Thanks Mike,

I'm in "The Fort" btw.

The foundation wall was actually alot of work as I first cold chiseled all the high spots off and then parged the whole thing. Worth it though.

The walls are just painted with a kitchen/bath flat latex. It's OK for a bit of splashing but I don't like it as it's looking grungy already. I'm going to repaint in the fall with a gloss oil for easier cleaning.

Just as a point of interest - the CT cabinets are less than half the price of the Gladiator stuff at Garage Strategies. They go on sale several times a year at $40 off apiece. Highly recommend these cabinets.

Very nice!

How's the drainage?

I didn't see an in-ground drain, so I'm guessing the slope takes water out pretty well?

Oh, how I long for a garage :(

Thanks. Floor drain is smack in the center and tied into the home's/town's sewage. No untreated Phosphates into the storm sewers here.

Very nice. BTW, "The Fort" as in Fort McMurray or Fort Saskatchewan?

How did you determine the height you mounted your upper cabinets. Just above head clearance? (I'm guess 6.5-7' from the pictures?)

Also, how do you like those CT tire racks? I'm deciding between those and the one tirerack sells ($$). The advantage of the tirerack one is being able to adapt to any stud spacing you want. Whereas the CT one is designed for 16" spacing. (The CT ones also seem a bit flimsier, but I guess you get what you pay for).

Anyway, looks great! My garage is drywalled but still needs mud & tape, paint and a floor coating. But it won't be this year.
