You can also simply contact the manufacturer and give them the part number and they can hook u up.

You should also be able to find remotes at places like Home Depot or Lowes. I know I have bought aftermarket ones that work fine with the model I have.
Good luck!

ok well i checked and i have a "raynor" 1/3 hp motor. it has a multicode receiver attached to it.

wha do i need and how can it be installed.

i know this is a lot to ask so im basically asking those who have particular knowledge in this department.

We have 2 aftermarket remotes in addition to the ones that came with the door operator originally.
I think the name was "Klicker" and I purchased them at Menard's or Target.
They were less than $20 each, easy to program and have been in use for several years.

Right now, I don't remember the exact procedure, but it was pretty simple. I think I recall that it involved holding the remote buttons down in a certain sequence.
It was pretty easy or I would never have gotten it done. :D

Stand next to the wall unit with the new remote. Press the transmit key on the remote. Hold it down and then press and hold the button on the wall unit.

Try the remote button to see if the above procedure has worked. You should be good to go.

Do the same with the light switch button (on the wall unit) and a separate button on the remote. Then you should be able to turn on the lights with the remote, too.

See if you have a rayner dealer nearby.I use to be a door installer. I installed merantech and genie they programed different but were very easy. The new remote should have directions if not ask if they have any extra directions left from an install you can have my truck was full of them. most of them have dip switches or you have to hold a button on the head and click the remote buttons x amount of times for it to program it self.Hope this helps a lil.
