G110v2 DA Pad Size

Wasn't able to find an answer for this specific polisher, so I figured I'd ask.

I know some users prefer smaller pads for DA polishers, however, the new generations are a bit more powerful. Can a newer polisher like the G110v2 achieve proper correction using 6" pads (came with 6: backing plate), or should I be looking right toward something like a 4"? Also, would I have to replace the counter weight if I switched to a 4"?

I should mention I'm just a DIY'er so time isn't a crucial factor, but I'd rather not spend a ton of extra time if something as simple as a smaller pad would really speed the process up.

you could get 3.5" and 5" backing plates (not positive, but i'm sure they will fit) so you could use 4" and 5.5" pads as well...

Would that require different counterweights as well? I'm really looking to pick up one set of pads to begin with, and was wondering if the 6" would work well with this polisher, or if I should just get a set of 4"

Low profile 5.5" orange cutting pads seem to work quite well with the G110 (original version) so that is probably where I would start.

Get the 5.5" and 4" pads.
