Just wanted to let people know that there are some web sites that you can go to to get VERY high quality color sand paper at a very good rate. You need to search on the web for fiber optic supplies. Look for polishing films. These paper are unigrit like Meguiar's Unigrit paper. Cost about 5 bucks for 10 sheets. They have 3 grades .12 micron, .5 micron, and .3 micro grit. They are very uniform in the grits and will cut VERY evenly unlike 3M (which most people use).
I happen to work for a large computer firm that had Ayaya; a fiber optic company rep come over and show us how to do a fiber termination. It crossed my mind that these paper are going to be very high quality (I happen to pick some up as a sample).
Though I might share this info with you poeple that do their own color sanding. I tried it and it worked like a champ. Cuts so evenly you could almost polish it out with a PC with a foam pad.
