FX Synwax discontinued?

stopped by autozone and they had the synwax on clearance for $5! i would of bought one, but i have too much as it is.... :LOLOL
 
I used Mothers Reflections Leather Cleaner/Conditioner this weekend. Great stuff. I got a 24 ounce bottle on clearance at AZ for $5.00. I plan on going back tomorrow to pick up another.
 
The Synwax is no longer carried by local retailers, where I saw it last year. Stopped at Autozone, Pep Boys, and Murray's Discount Auto. They only seem to carry the Reflections, or the regular Mother's products. So I tried the Reflections Car Wax, not the Top Coat. Don't know how something that applies as easily as ice cream, could be durable. We will have to see.

-Where is this clearance rack, table, or bin, everyone talks about? I did not see one at any of the stores.

Shelf space at large retailers is predicated on several factors. We have very good exposure on Pep Boys' shelves, but sometimes an item gets dropped that shouldn't have.

Sounds like they lost shelf space to Eagle One...Too bad, I really like the way PowerPolish and FX Synwax look on just about everything I have put in on. The best part was that I could get it OTC.

same here. if anyone is looking for deals at your local pep boys, look at the kiosks/endcaps on the end of each row...
 
Synwax is still at Pep Boys, being sold for the regular 12.99 price. It is not on the same wall as the other detailing products. They are on a stand in an aisle near the detailing products, with other popular detailing products. So I do not think this is discontinued, just the stores have run out of room for all of these new products.
 
I have been wanting to try this stuff out, and I can't find it in stores anywhere anymore. I used to see it at Wal-Mart, O'Reilly, etc. in my area, but now...nothing. The only Pep Boys around is in an area you are liable to get shot for even thinking about washing your car, or just shot for no reason.

Same with the AutoZone for me lol. Aint no way Im going down there, I will pay the extra $5 and have it shipped!

That is how it works. My ex-wife is a sales rep for Nabisco and the shelf space goes to what moves the best and makes the most for the store.
