Fuzion or Collinite?

I was looking for opinions on a really long lasting winter type wax for my vehicle.

I have many opinions that collinite lasts a very long time and is the wax for winterizing a vehicle.

I am also very interested in the new Wolfgang fusion, I have reports that it last from 4-6mo in the hot Florida sun. I would prefer the fusion because I am told it looks a lot nicer on paint.

I live up in the Northeast and my car lives outside all year, I would love some opinions on anybody that has used or is using Fuzion.

Thanks for any input.....

Indeed!

My first reaction, is that if you arent in the hot florida sun, it doesnt matter for you how long it will last there.

Imo, Fuzion is more of a beauty wax. And I doubt you will find a much better winter protceting wax than Collinite.

Why dont you try the cheaper option first?

Great suggestion and comments.

I use Blackfire Wet Diamond as a sealent, still looking to find a Nice wet looking wax to put over it.

Being in a harsh winter climate would like to find a wax that would last a long while.

Going for the wet, candy look.

Thanks for the info :D

Well if you are going for the wet candy look, an argument can be made for the Zaino line.

Its extremely durable.

You might also consider UPGP.

I would try Fuzion first, gives me good results for that price. Good luck

I have used Collinite 476 as our winter wax. Have gotten through in good shape, still beading in the spring, resisted the salt and sludge from Northeast winters.

Also had very good result with Finish Kare 1000P as the winter wax on my mother-in-law's car. Very nice look. Car wasn't washed from October through March, driven around Penna. all winter. When I worked on it in April, the 1000P was still going strong, beading beautifully and looking great. I'm going with 1000P this winter for our car also.

I use collintie 476s for my winter wax here, two coats before winter, last all winter.

Gonna go with Megs M16 this winter to see how it does.

Does anyone know where Finish Kare 1000 can be bought? I could only find it online in the UK and Europe?

Have decided to try the Collinite Marques De Allegance, am a bit worried about the application/removal of this wax though.

I have used many wax's that were hard to apply, Zymol, Megs Yellow and Poor boys Red.

Never forgot the first time I put Zymol Carbon on my dads new '88 Jag, I let it dry and could not get it off :buffing:, streaked like crazy, he wanted to kill me :furious:

I used Zaino exclusively but it was replaced by Blackfire Wet Diamond with Polycharger. Zaino Z2 with ZFX is a great product, I may switch back to it. Still have a new bottle of Z2 lying around.

Problem is I want a wax that would look really awesome and provide great protection for summer and winter. Hope I don't have to, but I am thinking of using Fuzion small can in the summer months than switching to collinite in October. I own two black vehicles and want them to look Stellar.

Thanks for the many excellent suggestions.
