subject says it all, what do you guys like to use when cleaning cloth seats. how about stuborn stains in cloth seats?

I mix up some Woolite and warm water in a spray bottle and use that. Make sure to agitate with a medium stiffness brush. It works pretty well and extracts pretty easy out of the cloth. For tough spots Eagle One Zap works quite well.

Lifter1 is the best cloth cleaner I've ever used. I used to use TuffStuff and other basic cleaners until I tried Lifter1. Makes all my carpeting look brand new in minutes. Great Stuff! :up

Emin Fabrik (I'm not sure about the spelling)

Looks like I've been spending money on "hype", could of got these other products that work just as well.... oh well, I got the gallon size too DOOHHHH

their glass cleaner is pretty good as well. cheap too. when kragen was carying it, it was like $1.99/can.

anyway, I believe kragen still stocks the carpet cleaner.

<strong class='bbc'>which one did you try? theres like stain removers and shampoos and stuff...

I always used the carpet stain remover (big blue can) as a general cleaner. I also got my Mom into using it even on household carpets and she hasn't found another cleaner yet that beats it! I'll have to start hiding my cans a little better I suppose...

Prestone?
I used a can once, and had good results with it.

I currently use a dillution of Eimann Carpet Cleaner and warm water. In most cases the seats I clean are not heavily soiled or stained, so I like to use a light sollution compaired to dirty floor mats or carpet.

Since there has been not definite answer posted by management/Admin I can only draw the conclusion that the site will be turned off very close to the time the PAC store closes. I am sure it cost money to keep up. I am hoping it will run until the prepaid money with the ISP runs out.

1. I need a place just like this to go for Help, Answers, interesting reading, detailed posted listing the products and processed and a cast of expert posters just like here. Where's everyone going? Not many good choices from what I already know so I am hoping for a suggestion.

2. Todd - Can you "keep this site up" and what would be the cost? If it's minimal, perhaps we could get the $ up. A real independent site?

Let me Know!

I think there needs to be a forum that is not sponsered by anyone other then its members. In other words, everyone who wants to post, should cough up annual dues

Keeping TID up is not a simple task.

> TID is an asset of CMA which would have to sell all rights to a new owner.
> Cost to retain name.
> Cost to host.
> Cost to update software.
> Admin to apply patches and maintain database.
> Admins to maintain "order" and memberships.
> Could drop chat (and all social networking functions) to save some money.
> Web designer to change site programming to new format.

I'm sure I left things out...

Moderators are also required else it becomes a spam-fest.

You ask, "where will folks go?" Most of the ones here already participate at other forums, even though they'll say they don't like them as much, you wouldn't know that by their post numbers.

If you charge a fee to post, that would eliminate spam, no?
