I was about to detail a 1994 nissan maxima today. My wife wanted to watch me detail (notice how i said watch not help).

I washed the car and then i was going to compound it with 3m perfect-it III. I buy it by the gallon size and put it into smaller squeeze bottles. The bottle was clogged so my wife came to clean it for me. she cleaned the tip off and went to try to squeeze it but she squeezed to hard and the cap came off and the entire bottle went all over my face:eek:



I was so made, i took the hose and washed everything off, i mean i hade the entire squeeze bottle all over my face. this stuff would not come off, my wife was laughing so hard she could not speak. I did not think it was so funny.



But i do have to say that my face has no swirl marks in it and feels really smooth.



The listen here is never let your wife help you while you are detailing unless she knows what she is doing

LOL!! now to protect that swirl-free finish on your face, have your wife "clean the tip" of a squirt bottle with #26 in it :p :D

Clod the dish soap bottle so she knows how it feels. Nahhhh bad idea. Too many mosquitos to sleep outside this time of year!
 
I GOT MY REVENGE, BUT I PAID THE PRICE!!!!

Right before my wife went to go to bed, i ran up stairs and poured cold water on her pillow just enough that you could not see it. She went into bed and when her head it the pillow it sounded something like this "&#*^%. #$&(@#, you #*$&@, and i am sure there were some more 4 letter words she said to me.

Just for the record it was not worth the revenge, i paid in the long run and all my married men on autopia know what i mean by that.

I'd certainly drop what ever I was doing in pure astonishment.



Getting the little ones trained differently. Last time I waxed a car I had to have 3 cans of wax, one for me and two for the girls. Now of course this is one of those I'm raising kids, not waxing a car things. An hour after working on the car, they ran outside and were looking at the mirror finish and giggling at their distorted reflections.



Occassionally it works out OK.
