Full detail on a saphire black metallic BMW 330 -04

Great process Marcus! I will have to try some of that Scholl compound and polish if your findings are good. I looked at there web page but it is in a different language. I have no idea what they are talking about:laugh: You will have to translate to me:laugh:

what is the site? I googled it but nothing came up.

The S-series is not on their site yet. It is rather new (after 5 years of development).

The S17 is similar to the 3.02 - but as Marcus, I have to gather more impressions.

This is the small 250 g bottle, while the "normal" size is 1 kg.

Quick comparo: the S17 is more capable than Meg's #85, yet finishes down mostly LSP-ready. And... Scholl Concepts has four even more aggressive compounds... You can see the abrasive scale on the right side of the bottle. The 30+ which was used by Marcus is between the regular 30 and the 40.

How is it different from Menzerna? Why would we want to try another line? Is is that good?

As Bence wrote, the S17 have very good correction abilites and yet will finish down LSP ready. Acctualy I could have only used the S17 and then applying LSP, but I wanted this car to be perfect so I did hit it twíce with the S30+ wich is something similar to PO106FA, the + means it have faster correction then the regular, but with the same cut. It only cuts faster just like RD3.02 and PO106FA compared to RD3.01 and PO106FF.

Pretty long working time on the S17, sligthly shorter on the S30+ and S40.

With my TopTool I could work the S17 for over 3 minutes on one panel and could still continue to polish. So long working time with DA/orbitals.

One thing that is much better then Menzerna is that these polishes are very easy to wipe off, even if not worked properly. I did some testing and used waay to much and just worked it for a couple of passes. And yet it was a breeze to remove it.

Haven´t tried their compounds but I will in the next coming weeks. They also have a premium carnauba/polymer wax and many other products.

Nice info Marcus. Very interested on this RC, hehe.

I polished my car yesterday with blue Propel 1 and 3M 50383 with really nice results.
