Been awhile since I posted a detail, but this one was a fun one, so here we are. It is rather pic heavy, be warned!
We did absolutly everything on this car. Interior overhaul, engine bay, headlights/taillights, exterior paintwork, you name it.
Here are some befores and what we were up against.
We pulled the seats out ( and what a mess it was!)
Starting by working on the wheels and cleaning /degreasing them as wlel as cleaning all the inner fenders.
Next we washed the car using a foam cannon with DP Extreme Foam mixture and washed using edge smitts.
I
Rolled it back into the bay, started working away!
I didn't get very good before/after pics of the paintwork, but it had medium swirling with some RIDS. Process for the paintworked looked like so.
1st Pass via OHC and Rotary @ 1300 RPM using VC CCS White Pad
2nd Pass via PC using CCS White Pad w/ OP/RMG Mix
3rd Pass via PC Finishing pad using Menzerna FP2
Finished up with a layer of Pinnacle Souveran
Pics of working away!
Headlights were a little hazy as well. so we polished these up using a 3" spotpad on a PC. 1st pass using OHC, then a pass using meguiars plastix
HEADLIGHT BEFORE
AFTER
We also worked away on the engine bay as well. Here are some of the afters on the engine bay (see before pics above). We using a high strength degreaser (rough rider), then brushed and hosed everything down. Went over any metal bits neverdull and mothers aluminum polish. It was then dressed with CD2 Engine Bay detailer, as well as stoners trim shine on other bits.
Lastly, we did the interior. This was a HUGE undertaking. Again, see the before pics for how it looked before (pretty bad). The process looked like so for the interior.
Steam Clean all carpets and mats using MyteeLite HP60 and Formula 88.
The leather was cleaned using a Woolite/Water mix w/ magic eraser, then gone over again afterwords with Lexol Cleaner...then 2 coats of conditioner.
