Just tried out my new PC 7424XP ordered from autogeek. Came with the LC pads, and some extras, also ordered additional pads and the Menzerna Polish starter kit and Poorboys EX sealant.
Sorry, no before or after pics, can't find my camera cable, but I tried it out on the back seat window of my 2008 GMC Siera SLE. Horrible water spots all over the glass on the truck. I used the orange LC pad, and the Menzerna final polish, and it came out great. Taped it up, as suggested here, no problems with the plastic. I have vent visors, so after cleaning the lower half of the glass, I powered the glass down and did the upper half. Same drill. Used regular foam applicator with the Intensive Polish for places the PC couldn't reach, and it worked out perfectly. Wiped down with a MF, then finished it with Poorboys' Ex sealant.
I also tried this evening to clean water spots from the rear sliding glass of a 01 Toyota truck, and it did great where the PC could reach; those windows were horrible, the water spots; tried by hand to reach them, nothing was working very well. Finally went to Meg's scratch remover, and that helped, but still couldn't get the corners of the small windows very well. Did the corners by hand, but didn't look that great. Compared to where we started, they were much improved by the end of the evening.
Nice to meet everyone, I'm female, middle aged, and laid off from work for two months. I've always wanted to do detail and paint correction, so now I'm practicing!
