Well, its my own show car! This is the present for my mom, it holds a salvage title and was repainted whole body. It has a very soft paint which i had the most with problems with . My first time full car wet sanding, and full car buff. I have done some wet sanding and buffing here and there before but not the whole car. It was my practice project and I had great time doing it.

I am sorry i don't have any real before photos because i didn't know i will be doing all this crazy stuff. the pics are after pfw pad and m105 and rims polished. The car had horrible water spots all over the car and lots of scratches.

everything was done by Rotary, i have makita but some gear inside broke half way finish so i send it to the makita repair shop. i used other rotary called chicago power tool.

guys am only 19 so give me a break if you se something wrong ;)

Things I used, meguiars 1500, 2000 sand paper, some spots got 3000 by da.

m105 on meguiars solo 1 wool pad,

sip on orange lc pad.

85rd black lc pad.

ez-creme glaze as cleaner. blue pad.

black fire as lsp x2 coats by hand.

rims received ez-cream and black fire.

rims where polished by hand with mothers mag&aluminum polish. 2 rims recived orange and m205 by rotary.

thanks for looking, sorry for all the mistakes, my first before and after post here.

Thank you everybody who was helping me with all the questions i had before! Rasky, John, and everybody who i forgot to mention!

Looks like you did an excellent job, it really looks 100% better. Just out of curiousity how long did it take to just do the wet sanding? Also, how many pieces of paper did you use. I have been messing around with wet sanding lately, but haven't done a whole car yet, so I am just curious.

Looks really good ! I've never wet sanded before, but this thread sure makes me want to try !

It took me a couple of days, real wetsanding, when i actually wetsanded. It took me like 5 pieces of 15000 for the whole car, and 3-4 piece of 2000 but when i cut the piece it come out 3 pieces for my block. so id say 8-9 pieces? you have to feel when the paper dont cut good.

thanks! go out there and do it man dont be afraid. go up and down with 1500 or 2000 sand paper, then horizontaly with finer paper.

That orange peel was worthy of the Tropicana seal. Huge improvement, the trunk picture with the kompressor tag is super clean. Take it back to the place that sprayed it and show them, maybe get some business or just rub it in...
