Wow another Ferrari you lucky SOB. Great results once again :2thumbs: . I noticed you used OC as your compound not Menzerna's how come? I've heard FPII is really nice and I'm thinking of trying the Menzerna trio. I've been using the Optimum trio for a while and like it but again I've heard good things about Menzerna. Your thoughts?

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MENZERNA! I started using the Optimum line this summer and thought I would give them a try. The only real reason I used OC this time is because I ran out of Menzerna IP. FPII is top notch, IP and PG is great but they do dust quite a bit. Im ordering some more FPII, IP and the other blackfire (menzerna polish) this week. Im still getting used to Optimum. I feel they have TONS of lubricants in the polish (hence the longer working times) but on the negative note with the optimum polishes when I wipe with a MF towel to remove the polish after buffing the smears liek crazy and takes a great bit of effort and multiple passes to remove. I resorted to using 50/50 dilution of alcohol/water in order to remove the optimum polishes left over smearing. With menzerna I use one MF towel and the surface wipes clean without the smearing. I think i may be using too much polish on the pad with the optimum. I'll try less next time to see if it helps. Menzerna will always have a place on my shelf for polishing though!

I believe it was purchased next door.

Well that's great about the polishes since I have the trio. :( I dont like them, I will be using them today on the BMW and see how they do. Im gonna try a lot less polish on the pad. Also the Optimum Polish I have is very CLUMPY. I mean so bad that it doesnt want to come out of the little spout many times. I think some other members had the same problem and its just a bad batch. Im bout to toss it out. :sadpace:

yes you just have one of those "bad" batches. I did too.

Contact Optimum and they take care of it.

you really need 1/4 of what you use with other polishes. that 32oz should last as long as a gallon of regular polish. Can I take one of your before pictures and post it elsewhere?

You and red Ferrari = :bow

Here you were complaining you haven't had any Ferraris and now you get two and a CGT. :woot2: Great work man keep it up.

Greg

you answered your own question. he does flawless work. i got his name off of this site. so put up a nice web page, and watch what you post on this site. It can turn into green. i originally looked through this site to find someone good for me and my freinds. I didn't want a business, i wanted an enthusiast. chris stood out like a sore thumb. i read through his posts and checked out his website. i decided to give him a try with my 328. he did such a great job, i have had people ask me if i got it re-painted. now he will be swimming in exotic cars. when you are good at what you do, the right people will find you.

I wish you people would stop detailing Ferrari's, I should be getting snow here soon...

Thats some of the wettest red ive seen. Have you used the Wolfgang duo? I'm curious how it looks compared to the Menzerna.
