free toyota sealant

i got this stuff with my truck. i never used it until last weekend because i am doing spot repairs (removing and reapplying sealants) so i needed to use something cheap.



does anyone know what this stuff is?



it looks awesome on the paint. much better than BF.:eek: i am sure toyota buys it from someone and pours it into their bottles.



it doesn't have a smell. it is beige. it was hard to remove. it makes the dust when removing. the directions say reapply every 6 months. any ideas?:confused: just curious mostly.
 
Auto International Inc. supplies Toyota/USA with car-care products. My guess is it's their Paint Sealant repackaged.

We got that with our Land Cruiser too. I love the stuff, but I thought it was just a polish, and not a sealant. :nixweiss



I will have to go take a look at it. It dosent make the car look as good as Zaino, I would put it at the Klasse level. :up

They carry more for customers at the dealer I bought the car at... (Classic Toyota in Austin) Ask for "Kiss" :D
 
Darn, I didn't get any car care stuff when I got my Lexus last year. I would've liked a bottle of AutoInt paint sealant.
 
You know, I just remembered something. I spoke to a Toyota parts counter here months ago while looking for some elusive product, and he said that Toyota was soon coming out with a new Toyota-branded line of waxes and stuff.



I guess this is it! Must be a major contract coup for AutoInt....

went to autoint. the descriptions lead me to thinking it is the OEM polish.

Interesting, I'd like to see what it is. All I ever see at my Toyota dealer is the red bottles. :nixweiss
 
Most dealerships I've seen give a little car care package when you buy a new car. At least here in Charlotte, Mercedes gives a bucket with some Meguiar's stuff in it, Lexus has some other kind of stuff (including a sealent that I tried-- it's ok), and I've seen a few others (one of them has Eagle One stuff-- I think it was a Toyota dealership but I'm not sure).
 
So is this stuff any good? I've got ZAINO on my truck now. It came with the "toyogaurd" pckg which is supposed to come with a car care package with the sealant in bottle, but didnt get it.



Is it wirth calling and b*tching about?

Nope, it's a pop-top dispenser with a blue-green watery soap.
