FREE HD SPEED and POLISH Shipping List

Just received my bottles. Looking forward to using them this week.

Thomas, how much more cut does HD polish have compared to HD Speed? If you could give the HD polishes a 1-5 ranking of cutting ability, 1 being least, 5 being most cut, where would each product fall?

Hi Dan - I hate to put a label on them simply because I can make them work so well for most imperfections except for deep RIDS. 3??? On some paint I could use SPEED or polish and get it 100% swirl free. Those new abrasives work wonders. I know you have a Jetta. Also pretty sure your vehicles are mint or nearly mint. Both products should do well.

I can't wait to hear your opinion on the look they leave behind. :D

Nope, no Jetta. I have a Jeep which is no where near mint, no time for my own car after doing customers cars all day. Must have me confused with someone else.

Since HD Speed has wax and or sealant in it, does it have any sort of cure time? Or do you simply apply and remove?

Hmmm. Sorry about that. It has a sealant in it according to Ben. It is a true AIO, you can wipe it off right away or go over the whole car and then wipe off. Very easy product to work with.

Got mine in... can't wait to test them out. I stupidly opened one while it had been sitting out in the hot sun all day and about a TSP bursted out. Interestingly, it didn't leave behind a PD type residue on my hands.. seemed more water based and wiped off easily. How this translates to usage on paint, we'll see.

I sent my info last week, 5/16, via PM after finding this thread. Sorry it was late, but I never received a message asking for my shipping address.

EDIT:

From David's post in the original thread:

"I have the ok to give out the new HD POLISH & HD SPEED to anyone willing to do a review of them. It doesn't have to be fancy, but you have to give your 100% honest and unbiased feedback on the product(s) and be willing to post it in the forums. Anyone interested should reply in this thread. Once the final list is gathered, BEN WILL PM YOU FOR YOUR MAILING ADDRESS (emphasis added). Be one of the 1st people to try these 2 new products and best of all it's FREE!!"

I was waiting for the referenced PM from Ben that never came. After I posted in that thread I NOW see the instructions changed and we were supposed to PM him. That's why I was late, I did not know the procedure changed.

Gezzz. I really promote HD products here (because they are no.1) but I only got the 2 products. But thats ok with me. I have used them on a couple test panels and I am impressed. Thanks to Ben and the whole gang that did what no other company would do...;

Me neither. I received UNO/Polish/Speed

got mine. now just waiting on weather and sometime to play around with them.

thomas,

what speeds have you been using on the flex 3401 with speed and polish?

Got to use HD Speed last week. Really an excellent product. A little goes a LONGGGGGGGGGGG way, less is definitely more. Wipe off is effortless and it gives the paint great gloss.

Only suggestion is to put different tops on the bottles.

Speed 5 to "correct" and speed 4 for finishing.

Glad you liked it! I love SPEED!!!

What is wrong with the top?

I transfer all my polishes into different bottles, so not really a big deal. However, I prefer to apply polishes directly onto the paint, the top doesn't work well for that. If the top is open and I set the bottle down, a little squirts out. And some will ooze out if you shake it up, then open it (when its full). Not really easy to control how much comes out with the current top either.

Most polishes come with flip top caps.

But I transfer polishes into bottles with these caps.

Not a big deal, but just an observation.

Correct with orange-green in that order. Use it with red to really burnish the paint before an lsp, like when you have a very special car or $$$ detail.

will speed still correct with the hd red pad? i don't have the black. in hd pads i have red, green and orange.

The top was one problem I had with the bottle...the only problem actually, which I mentioned in my initial review. The polish is the worst for this as it's clumpy and the UNO is far behind. The Speed works fine since it's more liquid-like, but the above dispensers would be great (or even the self-cleaning ones like on the D300 bottles).
