Four Star ultimate auto shampoo = cherry ripe

Dream Machines
Just got a 16 oz bottle of this from pakshak to try out and tonight I used it on my 1998 falcon XR which usually gets water only wash

Opened the lid and had a whiff. Yummy, smelt like cherry ripe and has a highly slippery feel to it.

Did the two bucket method wash with an ultra microfibre wash mitt and absolutely loved the ease of use, the way the shampoo hangs around longer than others and the feel after drying is complete

The paint lost a tad of slickness but it all came back after QD'ing

No doubt in my mind that this is the best shampoo I have ever used and will be ordering a gallon it of soon.

Alot of shampoo's dry up quickly and leave water marks but I did the whole car without up

No skin problems from using this which is very important for me with sensitive skin

I use Four Star's wash, too. It's nice, I'd buy more. The only wash I like a little more is Pinnacle, it's crazy slick and smells nice. I'd even go so far as to say it's luxurious. Of course, it's not cheap.

Autogeek gave me a 4 oz sample of pinnacle's bodywork shampoo and to be totally honest, it didn't deliver the results I wanted and the PH level is too high for my liking as well

At $80 USD compared to $49.95 for the four star at pakshak's, I know which one I prefer

Having said that, I'm anxious to try more shampoo's in the future

I'm surprised to hear you didn't like Pinnacle's wash. My bottle's pretty old, maybe they've since changed the formulation. The formula I have is very concentrated (I literally put a quarter sized drop in the bucket) so the bottle's lasted pretty long. That, and I haven't used it exclusively. That's what happens when you have more car wash in the house than bath soap, laundry detergent and household cleaners combined. :D Other washes I would recommend are 1Z Exclusiv Glanz and Sonax Gloss Shampoos. I really do like the Four Star wash, though.

Don't you mean sonus?

Will be getting wolfgang auto bathe and Meg's detailer hyper and shampoo plus wash in 1 gallon size soon

So far I'm not impressed with meg's detailer line, one product is an alkaline all purpose cleaner and I have banned alkaline products.

What about 1Z perls shampoo, any good?

No, it's definitely a Sonax product I'm talking about, it's called Gloss Shampoo. However, the Sonus wash is also called Gloss Shampoo. I haven't tried 1Z's Perls Shampoo, only their Exclusiv Glanz. I've read positive reviews about Perls, though. I do like Exclusiv Glanz, but it does have a chemical type smell to it. The Sonax doesn't smell great, but it's not a strong smell. They both clean well and are lubricating; the edge in both going to Exclusiv Glanz.
