found a great way to store my pc buffer

Basically a small toolbox. It fits the buffer, handle, power cord, and tool with plenty of room to spare. I'm sure i could fit a 2 or 3 pads in there as well. What do you think?

hey, that is a nice box. i bought a pc box from top of the line. it is grey. does not look as nice as yours..

after reading this thread i have been remiss in my maintainance. tomorrow the box will be buffed and layered with all my different products

I have a grey toolbox that is exactly like that one that I just have junk in. I never thought of puting my PC in it. You need to get some rigid foam and cut out a spot for the PC. That would make it look really professional.

The box looks great. I'm still using the original cardboard box my PC came in. I just stuck a small tab of velcro on the lid to keep it closed. When I start detailing for profit I'll probably get something like that to store it in.

I have the Porter Cable case made for the PC . It has a spot for the PC to fit in and a spot for the wrench. When you close the lid it secures the machine in place. The case is sorta bulky though. It looks like a suit case.

Yea, i stored mine like that for a while too but the box started to tear so i needed a change. My box smelled like a shoe box for some reason.

I got a case for mine at the local Lowes when they had their grand opening.

They had a table in the tool section that had all sorts of empty tool storage cases, etc. there. There was a sign that said....$5.00 each item.

I found a case (plastic blow molded with embossed porter cable on it) made for a biscuit joiner that fit it perfectly, with the handle and backing plate.

Then I found another great deal......they had all the empty boxes from the Lincoln welders they put on the shelf. I found one that had all the welding wire, cheap face shield, video, regulators, the gun, and the bonus welding cart ($75.00 on the shelf for the same cart). I asked..."Is this $5.00"???

They were like...."sure is".....it was mine!!!
