Forget the Clay Lube..Use Steam

We use this for rocker panels covered in tar. The steam melts the tar and the clay picks it up. Your clay will suffer from the clay, so we reserve this for older clay,and in amny cases its the last job it does. One must be very carefull about steam and hands, not a good mix.
 
Today the steaming and clay came in handy again. We had a car with tree sap on it and I used the steam/clay method to remove it. There was some etching in some areas. but it removed the surface tree sap with ease, while the water, or clay lube did very little.
