The big problem is it wasn't that bad, one step should have been able to take care of it but anything more aggressive than G-P-S was hazing it and sticking to it. Even HD Polish which is generally goof proof on soft paints was hazing the clear on this one. Pretty frustrating day.

Kind of hard to convince someone to pay for a bunch of extra steps when under normal circumstances 1, maybe 2 should have been enough. Maybe in a few months the paint will have hardened up some more.

Not all paints are created equal.... Need to explain that to your client. If they don't understand or accept it....well.......

He fully understood what the problem was, I've done several cars for him and he's referred me to other people. Just wasn't in his budget to do that kind of detail. When you look at your car and it only has mostly light swirls in it, its kind of a shock to find out you have really finicky paint and you are looking at 3 times what you initially expected to pay to get the paint right.

Why no OC on the BMW? He could sure afford it?

Not everyone thinks its worth it I guess. I have a lot of customers who know about Opti-Coat but prefer to have me come out 2-3 times a year and detail their car instead.

All look great guys! Love the new "6"s also. Not sure about back seat roominess but if your driving it doesn't matter! I have a new Accord upcoming, it looks like I need to add some extra time to that job. It's blue. Need to find out from Wills what this super soft towel he speaks of? I have not tried any Eraser either. Sticky paint is hard to wipedown with anything though, period!

I think it may have been Microfiber Madness Crazy Pile over at CarPro.
