Ford Fusion named "Most Washable"...

Maybe its just me but I think that the Fusion is a sharp car

I think it looks great for the category it represents, and it also sounds like it has excellent performance. Since *IMO* it's a refreshing change "stylistically" from so many other sedans in the same class - especially the monotony of the Honda offerings, which have the same basic round, flavorless shape from entry level to luxury class - I would certainly consider one if I were in the market for such a car.

I thought the Fusion looked good at introduction, but now I can't stand them...don't know why...

But someone calling Honda flavorless?? I think Honda designs have much more "flavor" than the Toyota offerings....IMO

I really like the Zephyr. It always grabs my attention when I see one.

Did you go to the Detroit Autorama LightningSVT? They where some sweet fords there. Someone had two GT 500 Stangs but they were called something like E GT 500 or something. And then there was a Ford 500 that was called a GT as well and it had a rear engine transplant. Was pretty sweet. I can not find any info. online about it though.

I sure was at the Autorama, wouldnt miss it! I posted pics in the car and driver forum here. The styling of the Zephyr has really grown on me, it doesnt have the presence of a 3 series or even IS but it has a unique look. The one thing I still dont like is the dash in the car, lloks to 70's.

The GT500 e (Elanore) are reproductions of the cars used in the movie Gone in 60 Seconds, I believe. They are made as continuation Shelby cars. That Ford 500 you're talking about was custom built, but not by Ford. They took a 500, added a custom wide body kit and installed the rear subframe, engine, trans, rear end, brakes, suspension, wheel and seats from a Ford GT! If I had unlimited funds, that would be a cool car to own!

I agree that Toyotas have even less flavor than Hondas! :D

I really like the Fusion and Lincoln Zephyr...However it will be interesting to see how long the Fusion lasts. Does neone else think the Ford Five Hundred and Fusion look kinda the same? Except maybe the Fusion is marketed towards early 20's-30's while the Five Hundred is more "luxury"...Maybe Im dumb but would like to see if anyone else thinks this.

Lincoln Zephyr takes my vote

you nailed it right there. I call it the 'ford four door honda prelude'. or sometimes just the 'ford honda'.

I havent seen the crash test, where they that bad? But it seems most on here think a car is crap unless it wears a German or Japanese badge. Im still trying to be a Ford guy, but after killing SVT im finding harder and harder.
There should be an SVT Fusion in about twelve months. Hang in there.
