For those traveling in Massachusetts...

MN gots every damn thing now. The latest I saw was a Trailblazer SS that was a statie.

Unfortunately IL state troopers are also using Dogde Caravans with tinted windows. VERY hard to spot as you're flying by them.

Here in MD, I drive 95 everyday and I see it all. We have two types of dept's patroling the interstates. MD State Troopers and MD Transportation Authority. Both now have so many types of patrol cars/trucks/SUV's etc. its near impossible to distingush whats what.

I have seen Silverado's, Expeditions, Camaros, Mustangs, Chargers, and Trailblazers. These are usually all black, non-marked, plain trim (badges, no step bars, basic factory wheels) and deep black tint. The only way to tell is the antenna's and the strobes inside the windows, if you catch the sun right. The are in ultimate stealth mode around here, espically on the interstates. These cars never are sitting, they are always driving and patroling. The only cars you see "running radar" from a stand still are the marked Crown-Vics.

There was a segment of road in WI years and years ago that was patrolled by a trooper in a Camaro B4C package. Really nice guy as we chatted with him at a rest stop one day. He said more people were surprised when they were pulled over than argumentative. It made his job easy.

I have also seen a Saleen Mustang trooper in IL that had a 'vette pulled over. The city of Madison had a special squad car they used to arrest street racers. It was a Ford Contour SVT with very dark tint and a turbo/tuned V6. The kids would hear the turbo and the BOV and they would just look for trouble.

They are using a lot of the new styling Impalas unmarked here. The Sheriff's Office uses all Chargers and Expeditions now, except for the old Crown Vics. I've also seen an unmarked Trailblazer, an SRT-4, a Dodge Ram Heavy Duty, and a few various others. I stay out of trouble, so I don't worry about it LOL.

If you're gonna be in Germany be on the lookout for these...

In Raleigh/Morrisville, NC they are using the Dodge Chargers and the GT Mustangs as totally unmarked. just watch out for the jet black tinted windows because they ARE cops. I really wanna see what that GT will do :)

edit: I can't even recall seeing the "Police Interceptor" emblem on the rear of those cars....All I remember is damn thats a GT and boy did it sound nice! :)
