For the Coin-op users who want to use a botique soap (Perls), don't have access to a hose and don't want to QEW, this method may work out.
So i borrowed a page from GRStilez's book and bought a 2 gallon RoundUp sprayer - $20.00 at loews. Each time i go to the coin-op it costs me $4 bucks. $2 to soak the car and fill bucket, $2 to rinse the car and my buckets. So after 5 uses this pretty much pays for itself.
I use a similar method as a QEW,
- Fill both the bucket and sprayer in the tub.
- Spray down the panel with the sprayer
- Wash the panel with soap and sponge
- Rinse the panel with the sprayer
- Dry the panel
The wand gets into all the hard to reach spots like wheel wells, rims, etc.... 2 gallons was plenty for a sedan. The spray is pretty much the equivalent of the presoak at the coin-op, but not nearly as powerfull as pulling the trigger. I wouldn't recommend it for a heavily soiled car, but as a weekly routine for an autopian this works well.
I'm pretty pumped about not having to drive somewhere to wash my car and all with a $20 investment.
