For full time detail shops

How is business going this year. I personally am down about 2 -3 cars per day from this time last year. I do not think quality is a issue! i have tons of word of mouth work coming in.. But I am just thinking are gas prices really hurting peoples pockets that badly..... Any and all responces would be great...

I'm in a different economy and a newer shop here. I don't have any info for you, except that people are squeezing me on price, and until 2 months ago, every aspect of the auto industry here was down. It is up to par now, but it's been tough.

thank you for the reply. It has been a tough year so far and the rain in the northeast is not helping matters..

the car industry as a whole is down in general. don't feel it is just you, there will be exceptions, bit for the most part the pinch is felt by many.
