For all the (fellow) speed demons here

I have fixed feelings about that site.

My left side of the brain wants me to jump in the car and go as fast as i can and take a picture.

My right side of the brain says, sites like this that encourge speeding are the reason we see innocent young kids die.

not sure which way I am going yet.

NYD

You can't blame the websites. People were pushing the limits of their cars loooooong before the internet or digital cameras. If you want someone to blame then blame the car manufacturers for making the cars go that fast to begin with. Or blame the aftermarket companies for making the parts that make them go faster. Blame the drivers for being irresponsible. Blame movies and TV for glorifying the speed. The internet isn't to blame though. They would have done it even if they couldn't have uploaded the pictures.

I hear ya, trust me i am no goody to shoes :)

I speed myself. In fact nothing make me smile more then spending all day detailing then going for a blast on the highway.

(i heard a detailed car adds 5hp)

I can just see some young kid seeing that site and saying he wants to post a pic and something happens to him, thats all.

we all speed, but i guess you need to use your head and know when to stop.

i hope i didn't post anything i wasn't supposed to. only reason why i posted the url is because I find pictures(read: ONLY PICTURES) of speedometers of cars going fast to be interesting. You don't even need to drive to do that. all it needs is Ulead PhotoImpact 8 ;)

I used to be pretty proficient at the time when v3.0 was out, about 6 years ago, but i've lost my touch. Actually, i was just referring to your excellent artwork in RCG's garage.:D

Then again, many but not all of those owners live in Germany where they can go to those speeds legally every day. The picture of the Camaro SS clocked at 219 looks as if it was in the middle of nowhere, away from little kids :)
