Foam Gun

Got my long awaited foam gun today and may I say it was worth the wait. I detailed the wifes car long over do.

PROCESS:
wash twice with foam gun 1/2 wash soap(from local dist.) 1/2 citris
clay
SSR2 green light cut pad with PC
some heavier spots got 2.5 and the rotory
FK1 sealer
topped with nattys red

Well, again I'll ask is that a hose foam gun or a pressure washer attachment. Makes a good bit of difference for me.

Cam Spray 527100 - Foamer Attachment

That is the most common one for pressure washers. It puts out a thick foam like shaving cream with certain soaps.

I just got a typical hose style foam gun for X-mas from autogeek. Do you guys wash the whole car with it using a wash mit or do you simply use it to pre-treat the cars, rinse then use the 2 bucket method? Autogeek has a video where they use a horsehair brush with the foam gun to clean the whole car. Just curious how you guys are using these things. Tks

When I had mine I used it as a presoak and then washed with it. I used it in conjunction with a multi bucket method, one of which had shampoo in it. Kind of a hybrid method.

As long as it's not below freezing. The foam will freeze before water though.
