so i bought a foam gun and poor boys super slick and suds it foams but not like in the videos i have seen

so my question is what soap foams the best with a foam gun

i am talking about turn my my car white with foam

any suggestion

I just got a sample of the pinnacle foam soap that is especially good for foam guns. Problem is, I don't have a foam gun...LOL.

Are you using your water hose with this or a power washer?

this has been covered many times. if you want a car wash that produces lots of foam (even more so with no water added), pick up the EO1 car wash which can be had at kragen (if they still have it since it's on closeout) for $1.33...

The amount of foam depends on several factors; the amount of water pressure you have, the quality of your water (soft or hard), the amount of soap you use, and the mix ratio you set on the gun.

I have used the Poorboy's wash and found it to be a good foamer. As someone else mentioned the foam gun will not produce a thick dry clinging foam like you see in some videos that are using a foam lance.

I meant for the original poster. ;) But your foam gun and that soap should not hurt the LSP. As far as I know it's not a heavy degreaser type of soap.

I just bought the same foam gun, can someone tell me how i can get it to fit on my presure washer? What attachment or coupler do I need?

your pressure washer will blow it up

sorry but you want a foam cannon(try a saerch there are several threads about them)

I got the gilmore foam gun special off of amazon with the DP extreme foam formula auto shampoo but have yet to try it out due to weather.

I'd probably start by setting at the highest concentration and use a soap to water ration of about 1:3 in the cannister. You can then go from there by adjusting the soap to water ratio and see if you get your desired results.

I personally don't need "white with foam" levels during my washes - just enough soap to break the adhesion of the dirt and not be too harsh of a soap concentration to decrease the longevity of my LSP.
