Foam Cannon/ Foam Lance Groupbuy

If the group buy goes through, are we able to PayPal you the money? I still haven't bothered to order checks (I pay my bills online), so I'd rather pay you from my PayPal account so the wife doesn't have to find out until she starts seeing my black car covered in white snow in SoCal :D

Just a quick update....

We still need 2 more to get the buy started. No more Karcher PW owners out here?

That is correct, but there are two different work arounds for that problem. You can replace the bottle and pickup tube with larger ones, OR, you can just put straight, undiluted soap in the bottle. Then, you use the dial on the side to adjust the soap/water ratio to get just the right amount of foam. If you use straight soap ( i still don't like to use straight soap, cause I need an exact ratio with the soap I use or it will remove LSP), you'll get a bunch of cars washed before the container is empty. Remember that you must use a completely LSP friendly soap that won't remove any LSP regardless of the dilution ratio if you choose to go with the straight soap work around.

This is the ONLY reason I am not getting one of these... I just purchased a karcher today but I don't see how one would regulate the water/soap ratio to the point where I would feel 100% comfortable I'm note removing any lsp.

If anyone can provide a quantitative explanation of the working sof this I would appreciate it.

does it work with my Husky 1750???

To be honest, I do not know, as I have never seen a Husky before. What I can

tell you is that the adapter is designed to work with Bayonet style atachments.

Bayonet being you push the attachment into the gun, and then turn to lock in place.

Not sure this will help you, but I'd like to point out something for perspective.

Even with the gilmour that has fixed mixture ratios, it was still a learning curve for me

to get a good water to shampoo mix. Even when i got it dialed in for one type of

shampoo, i would need to re-dial it again to get a good ratio for other shampoos

that I would use.

About the best suggestion i could offer is do a reduction in a painter's cup, or, use a

bottle that has ratios on it; similar to this:

Anyone know if this can be adapted to a non-bayonet style karcher?

It should not be a problem. Simply remove the piping and the bayonet adapter, and replace with an adapter of your choice.

Ok the order has been placed, and they expect to ship out today. Since the deilivery is coming from the UK, I dont expect it to get to me until probably the end of the week. Once they arrive i will let you guys know so you can send pyment.

Just an FYI: the shipping on these are pretty big, but I have decided to eat the cost

from the UK to the states. However, you will have to pay the shipping once i begin to

send them out.

I'll have more info later.

OK, I'll take one, even though both my Karchers are dead and I don't plan on getting them fixed again. I figure I can unscrew the bayonette adaptor for use with some other pressure washer or else use the Karcher hose on whatever I end up getting.

Hey guys... I just placed an order for one of these and just came across this thread. Either it will be a POS and I'll wish I would have found this thread first to get in on this group buy, or it will wok great and everyone else will regret... LOL!

Did you call the retailer and ask what it hooks up to like what pressure washer's and how?

very interested, keep me/us posted please!

So I canceled the order for the above unit from Hydromidwest and picked up this gadget from the Home Depot. I wasn't feeling that unit so I am going to try this contraption tonight. $15 for this kit at HD. If it doesn't work, I can take it back!
