Looks great, are you a member over at www.acurazine.com ? I am, I've got a first gen.

Yes. I'm a member. I use to go there all the time, but nowadays, it seems like most of the new threads are about the third generation.:(

My brother has a first generation 3.2 TL too. He has an incredible stink coming from the air conditioner whenever he turns it on. Do you have the same problem? In any case, he could care less about car detailing. I'm going to see him in Atlanta in a few month. I'll probably try and detail his car and get some before and after pictures just for fun.:D

I have AIO and SG too. Right now I'm just using them on my rims. Don't really have any other uses for them. I put Zaino on my wife's Accord and my mom's E320 so I can put more time and effort into my car. I am curious as to the durability of Klasse down here in Florida, though.

Great work.

FP + FMJ is one of my favorite combos. Compared to Z2 Pro I'd say it's a little more muted, less plasticky, but provides a darker, more wet look. The reflections are still crystal clear.

Can't make up my mind whether I like Z2Pro + Z8, or FMJ + Acrylic Shield better on black. FMJ seems more slick however, especially when only using one coat of each.

I haven't used Z8 yet, but I've used Z2Pro + Z6. Slickness is good and lasts a long time, but initial slickness is definitely not up there with FMJ or Blackfire. I had Z2Pro on my Mom's dark grey metallic E320 and it had a nice sparkle to it, but it didn't look as wet as FMJ.

Yup, its not that bad though. I think I know part of the reason, or there is a TSB out on it or something, I'll look into it some more for you guys.

He's taken it to the dealer already and they just keep telling him it's the evaporator and it will cost a lot of money to fix because they have to take the dash out to get to the evaporator. He has two cars, so he just drives it in the winter so he doesn't have to turn the air on.:D

FMJ is definitely more reflective than Blackfire, my other favorite sealant. I'm not saying that's bad or good. It's just a different look. So far, I like both. Slickness is just like Blackfire. Super, super slick! I have yet to encounter anything slicker than FMJ or Blackfire. (I've already tried Zaino, but not UPP yet.)

I'm not very thorough when it comes to reviews of product, so feel free to ask any questions!:)

First your car looks great. Excellent work! Second, I am trying to decide on a sealant for one of my black cars and was wondering which would you rate as the better product in your opinion, FMJ or Blackfire? Considering cost, durablity, and looks which one will you continue to use if you had to choose between them? Thanks!

I just replied to your post over at DetailCity.:p

They have different looks. FMJ seems to have wetter reflective look. Blackfire is not as wet or reflective, but it still has a nice look nonetheless. Blackfire has more of a carnauba look, so I wouldn't bother topping it. Then again, I wouldn't top FMJ either. True, it has an intense, wet, reflective look, but it actually looks really good. Both are really slick. Taking price into consideration, I would pick Blackfire. We're talking extra $15 for FMJ. You don't get the same quantity/dollar ratio with FMJ unless you buy the 32 oz. container. I don't know how long either sealant lasts because I wax every month no matter what. I like keeping my car feeling super slick. As far as looks go, it's a toss up. They both have excellent looks that I like.
