Last question guys, ha! Can FMJ go right over polish (also applied by PC) or will it remove any fillers contained in IP or FPII?

Also, I have some poorboys polish w/carnuba lying around... could this possibly replace a polish (that I'd have to buy) to go over IP and not have to apply another wax layer?

Thanks everyone!!!

The Poorboys PwC is a much better cleaner than it is a protector. Probably not a good idea to use that under the FMJ. You could use it after IP or FPII with good results but not much in the area of protection. You can go straight to FMJ from either IP or FPII as long as the you're satisfied with the finish prior to its application. What's this about fillers in IP or FPII??

Hi Spoiled.... I may have been wrong in thinking that IP or FPII had fillers. I think I was comparing the products to sonus swirlbuster polish or Blackfire polishes which (I think) have fillers.

Spoiled man - can you use FMJ right over IP even with a cutting pad and rid your finish of hazing?

The Blackfire polishes are Menzerna products as well.

FMJ is a sealant and wont remove any hazing that's left by IP. If you're getting hazing from IP, you're likely using too much, not working it long enough, using the wrong pad or any combination of those. At any rate, follow with a mild polish to remove the haze and then the FMJ.

I'm glad I could help. If you'd really like some help, search for member blkyukon and read his post about breaking down polish. That's the best information available on this site.:D
