FLEX USER NEWS - Edge 2000 adapter coming soon!!!

When I had a PC I was a die hard Edge 2000 pad user. At one point, I had a really bad experience with LC and swore off their products.

So, when I switched to the Flex I emailed Aaron at Edge to see if he was considering making an adapter for this machine. After a little research, he told me that it would be some time before he could come up with an adapter for this machine if it could be done at all. So, I begrudgingly sold many of my Edge pads and bought LC ones to replace them. Well, it seems development has been more speedy than Aaron initially said. Lay your eyes on this:

I'm told there's still much more testing to be done, but the adapter may be released next month.

I believe Edge is going to debut the Flex adapter at Detail Fest 08', we still have to wait a bit:(

I will have to wait and see what people think. I had the problem with the beeds falling out with my pc and I sure as hell don't want that happening on a machine more powerful than the pc. Hopefully it will work perfectly and then yes I will buy one. The concept is great.

When and what is the location is this Detail Fest 2008? I need to get with my travel agent to make a trip to check this out.

Thanks.

Ressurection time!!

Hello Good Folks at EDGE!!

Any word on releasing that adapter?

I want to order a Flex and the lead time is a month plus ordering now gets me multiple discounts. However a Flex won't do me much good without pads. I would rather invest in the EDGE QD double sided pads than have consider non-QD products.

If it is acceptable to your marketing plan, please bring us up to speed!

Thanks!

Sure is. I was hoping to get it before detailing season hit. I had to order LC pads instead of the EDGE QD pads. Bummer.

:werd:

As much as I hated to do it, I sold off all my Edge 2000 pads and replaced them with LC pads. :(

My justification for almost buying a Makita last week was so I could use 4inch pads:buffing:. The flex is fine for now, still waiting on the adapter though.

I will let you guys do the testing on this. I am very nervouse about this. Like I've said before, the system kept crapping out on my with the beads falling out with the PC. The Flex is a stronger faster working machine, if it happens with the Flex theres no telling what you'll mess up. I would love for it to work great and to buy it cause I loved it when it worked so I will have my fingers crossed.
