Flex BP's?

Hmmm, well maybe it's not the story for the site being down if it was up recently... just a guess.....

Just about the same thing happen to me. I finally get ready to buy it and now I can not find it.:angry

I figured maybe the webmaster doesn't work on the weekend, although 3M killing the site did cross my mind, but it was the only place selling the Flex adapter, AFAIK.
 
Try giving them a call and find out the story. you can get the number from the dedication to detail site

Yeah, they answered the phone with a different name, and said they would have someone from 3M get back to me with how to buy one. It almost sounded like the Edge business has been taken by 3M and they were going to do something else, rather than all the D2D people becoming 3M employees like I thought was announced.
 
It is a shame that no third party has done this for flex users..tight spots with a 6.5" pad is dang near impossible for me..i use 105 by hand for all the tight spots..and yes 6.5 pads are too big for some curvy panels...i dont want to switch to the edge system so i guess im stuck :hmph:
 
How come i only see this one thread in this section? It says there should be 4,013 threads

Sheesh, I got tired of waiting and emailed 3M about the Edge Flex adapter. The response said that they had nothing to do with Edge or Flex. I had to inform the CS rep that they bought Edge last fall....sheesh. I wonder if they know they bought Meguiar's? :nixweiss:



EDIT: Second Reply: "I have checked with our marketing people, and no announcements have been made at this point. So, what they plan on doing with this acquisition has still to be determined." Whatever that means. I think it means no more Flex adapters, even the ones Edge had in stock at the time of the aquisition.

Interesting indeed! Think I'll be *very* gentle any time I use my Edge adaptor on the 3401 :eek:
