Flex 3401 VRG Headcount

I have one. Also a PC, but the PC is only going to see spot polishing duty. If Flex comes out with a smaller backing plate for 4" pads, I'll get rid of the PC all together.

I ordered one. However, I asked George at DI to delay shipping it since I'm in the Dominican Republic this week. It should be on my door step a day or two after I get back though!

It completely removed 2k scuffs with an orange ccs pad and htec, very strong machine, it'll heat up some paint though so be careful.

Mine is in hand now. UPS delivered it today. Looks like a fine piece of machinery. Very well constructed. Looks and feels like a rotary. From it's looks it will probably handle similar to a rotary also.

The bag for it is also very nice. It's heavly padded and constructed well.

So, Scottwax....will you be using your new Flex on Christmas day?

If I actually get it. The last several years, my parents have just given me a check, so if that is the case, I'd order one.

I haven't used mine yet Scottwax, but if it's anything like it's said to be and from what I can see from the construction of the unit, you should be able to retire your PC. The only other polisher that you MAY need would be a rotory for some very serious scratch/swirl removal.

Someone sent me some pictures of correction work done with a Flex-it was quite impressive. If you don't have a rotary then it should be able to handle most everything you'd come across for detailing. I still be believe a rotary is a better tool for a bodyshop environment tho.

Since I got my UDM, my PC has been relegated to carpet duty. ;)
