The flex comes with a "Soft Vib" handle. Where does it attach????

I am guessing the front cover is removed and then the handle connected?

Also has anyone noticed a difference with the soft vib handle?

I thought it came with that handle as well. On the Flex website it appeared to me that it was included, but after getting mine there was no Soft Vib handle. The manual in the box with mine did not list it as an item that was included. I would also like to know if anyone is using it and if so how they like it.

I too was wondering about the handle that came with my Flex. The book does not show the installation of the handle. It does feel padded. I prefere to use the bale handle. I think that's what it's caled I may have the spelling wrong. But the machine is Awesome!

I can't wait to really tackle the correctins in the coming season!

Showroom...did yours come with two handles?!?!?

Can you take a pic of the padded handle.

Mine only came with the bale handle that comes attached to the polisher...you can take it off, but for the life of me I don't know why you wouldn't want to use it. UNLESS it can be replaced with a padded handle (that I don't have :sadpace: )

Nevermind...I just went on the Flex website and saw the handle. That certainly wasn't listed on the site when I bought mine.

For the life of me, I don't know how that kind of side handle would attach to the polisher???

It doesn't look like it can use the same screws that hold on the bale handle...does it just "latch" on somewhere??

I just pulled my Flex out of the box again to look at the handle. It says Flex SoftVib. I guess it's supposed to lighten the vibration. What vibration, I was not getting hardly any.

The handle is not padded like I first thought it was. I think it screws into the same hole that the bale handle screw comes out of. Duh! I do not know why you would want to take the bale handle off. I like it, it's a big change from the conventional buffer/ grinder type handles. To me it gives better control, and assist in adding more pressure when needed, which is not that often with this buffer. The machine will do the work, all you have to do is steer it where you want it!:buffing: :2thumbs:

Mine came with 2 handles. The normal bale handle, and a separate SoftVib handle. Basically the softvib handle is similar to the ones you find on angle grinders. Anyways after trying each of them i still prefer the bale handle as i find it easier to control...and just feels more comfortable to use.

It looks like those of us that got the "early batch" of Flex's didn't receive the optional side handle. I agree with everyone though...I really like the location and feel of the bale handle, directly over the head of the polisher is perfect IMO. Heck...there's a reason I never used that stupid side handle with my PC.

Just got mine from CMA and was supprised to find the soft-vib handle in the box.It Also had the new BP. All I need is a little time now. Might get a chance to use it on my daughters new black CTS over the holidays.
