It seems like every car that comes my way is black these days. This Toyota Rav4 was purchased used by the owner and while she liked having it she just wasn't "proud" of it. In a round about way she found me and signed me up to make it look its best.
There were swirls and buffer trails/burn all over the place. The nut that did the "prep" even buffed the roof rack.:hairpull
The paint was cleaned with Hi Tech sponge with ONR as a lube.
Compounded with IP and LC wool pad
Polished with 106ff and LC green CCS 6.5 (polishing)
Sealed with PC'd UPP (absolute joy to remove)
Befores: (only a couple)
Test spot:
That worked!

Almost all of the finished shots are reflections as the sun was at such an angle that I would have to have climbed on the roof to get a sun shot as the parking area was really tight.
I think she's mighty proud now.
The PC'd UPP came off with the breeze. One pass of the towel took off even the heavily applied areas with little to no pressure. I'll be checking it in about 6 weeks for durability so I'll update this thread with how it goes.
Thanks for looking and feel free to comment.
