It is called Imperial Jade Green Mica, the true color of the paint comes to life in the sun, otherwise it`s pretty muted.

Migue- Thank you, she`s about as hard to keep clean as a black car.

Looks great! Just ordered some fk1000p and plan on using it on my DD very soon. Have never used it before and can`t wait to try it.

You will not be let down, FK1000P is really a fantastic product and you will get so much usage out of that tin, for the price it is really hard to beat its performance.

You and Accumulator would have the most awesome first date!

Even moreso than with most people who fall for FK1000P in that his Jade Green, like the Granite Metallic on my old Yukon XLD, is a paint that not everyone would like FK1000P on (looks-wise).

TheMeanGreen- Speaking of that, did you like how it looks right off the bat, or did it have to grow on you for a while?

I loved the look it initially gave, and still do. Out of the sunlight, the Pearl is very mute, almost to the point that the car looks somewhat black. In the light though, that`s when the magic happens. It`s the equivalent of a really big shark, in a very dark ocean, crossing infront of a well lit submersible camera.

TheMeanGreen- Ah, I know exactly what you mean! It`s a similar effect on the Blue Pearl Audi. I think I like FK1000P more on those kinds of colors when there`s a bit of pearl in the mix...the GMC didn`t have that (just a regular metallic) and I think that was the tiny diff that I thought was missing.

According to Accumulator, he probably thinks everyone should have a can of FK1000P
AND uhh....I`m gonna have to agree..after i tried it myself as per his suggestion

Some people won`t like how it looks on some paints, even FK acknowledges this and makes their "Pink Wax" specifically for applying over top of FK1000P to improve the look. No, I`ve never tried that as I`m OK with how FK1000P looks on my vehicles.

Agreed. However, I do have PB`s Blackhole/EX-P/Natty`s Black on one fender. It has more of a depth to it, but it does not make the Pearl flake pop as much, when the sun hits it, more of the paint is "lit up". The FK is much smoother, and creamier feeling. I have found my two companies for glaze steps to LSP, I have no need to try anything else. The 3 month old, Texas baked FK is still .
