fk1 425 addiction

I've decided not to use one without the other. Kind of like Klasse SG and AIO.

FX100 has a great gloss but its kind of thick, if you let it sit for a while it seperates in the bottle. I think you would go through it pretty quickly if you used it as a QD. The 425 will do allot more of the preserving.

425 is thick too but a little goes a long way.

Unless your bottles are defective, your post couldn't be further from the truth.

Both are very thin and very easy to apply/remove. :bestwish

I am about out of EO WWS which i only use as a QD between layers of SG...I have been considering #34 or Sonus AS as a replacement. Would 425 cause compatibility issues if I used it between SG layers? TIA.

So guys, can you apply FX-100 with a MF towel just as easily (and sparingly) as #425 or any other QD? (i.e. spray and wipe then flip the towel and wipe clear) TIA.

Trying not to change the subject.... Bence or anybody else ever try FK146 Finish Restorer Poly Wipe Spray Detailer - Anti-Static? FK says it has some cleaning properties... would this be considered along the lines of PB SnW?

I was looking at the 146 and maybe try it some day, but right now 425 will be it for me. 146 sounds pretty interesting, a little bit cheaper too, and maybe better cleaning ability than 425.

I have emailed FK1 asking for more info then whats on the website. I will post my finding here.... or maybe I will just order some, LOL.

I used my sample of the 1016 Poly-Wash & Wax Concentrate this weekend. This is a very interesting soap for my ungaraged DD since it leaves a very shiny slick surface. It does require 2oz per gal so its not as cost affective as some other shampoo's. But at less then $30 per/gal I really liked this shampoo. It seems so slick it felt like I was going to drop the wash mitt several times.

Then I added a layer of FX-100.... god I love this stuff.

My response from FK Sales about 146....

146 is an excellent product to use when extra cleaning is required. 146 has the ability to remove light oxidation, light to medium hard waterspotting, bug splatter, soil ....etc. It can either sprayed on and wiped off with a microfiber. or when extra cleaning is needed spray on agitate for a few seconds or minutes with a foam applicator then wipe with a microfiber. As far as removing other LSP,within the FK1 line no, othe product lines it is possible depending on there composition. It may try to clean silicone oil based products. If it does you will see streaking. 146 can be a very useful product.

And I also asked about 350 being available in a smaller container and was told that a new version was coming for the consumer line.

350 in smaller containers...that is great news. Did they say it would be the same formula or something different?

I asked if FK had plans to sell 350 in smaller containers. This is the exact quote.

As far as 350 there is a new version coming out that will be offered in a consumer size. The release date is unknown but it will be in the near future.

Good news on the 350, was thinking about getting some as well. Would like to see 817 in consumer version as well.
