fk1 425 addiction

You guys won't break me. I have enough product that I promised not to buy anymore for at least another month or two. As tempting as it is to just get 425, I'm holding out, because I plan to buy a bunch of fk1 products at once.

Well what upsets me more is I ordered a gallon and I got a 31oz bottle. :grrr :grrr

Now I have to try and find a phone # and wait again.

Call or email them... they will fix it promptly. :wall

doc. I bet you end up ahead in the end due to their mistake. maybe

a little extra product, a couple extra sprayers.

mine will be here tomorrow according to fedex.

whooa-hoo.

this in conjunction with some plush mf's should allow me to 'play'.

We shall see, not looking for extras just the right order. But it will be a test to see how they respond. Gotta send that email this weekend as time did not permit at the office today.

Just got my order today. 3 days from click to unwrap.

2 giant gallon bottles of 425, pink, and a sample of 1016.

The rep said that 425 and 1016 both have de-contam proerties also.

I would like to buy the full de-con system, but $45 for just one time doesn't make sense.

Chemically altering the paint makes more sense than rubbing it into submission, although

someone who can properly do so will always be in demand.

Should I wash twice with NXT, then the 1016?

Sorry they messed up you order, but from my call, they seem helpful.

Chemically altering the paint makes more sense than rubbing it into submission, you are perfecting the top, but the goop is still under. Although someone who can properly do so will always be in demand. (( I believe everything printed on a flyer ))

Should I wash twice with NXT, then the 1016? Wish I had my wash brush already.

. . . has any of their products dissappointed you

Yes, with the exception of 215 - I don’t like FK compounds and polishes.

I use the entire FK product line for both interior and exterior detailing. While I have particular favorites (1Z, Megs, Menzerna, Sonus, etc.), as a whole, FK products meet and exceed my expectations. Fabric protectant, odor killer, interior poly protectant, trim restorer, metal polish . . . all outstanding products :2thumbs:

I noticed I am getting a little streaking with 425 over my Pinnacle Sig. I'm using about a half a squirt per panel, buffing immediately with a Cobra Super Plush. It sure does leave a shiny finish, though. I'm not giving up on it that easy.

Anyone know if 425 is geared more towards carnauba or sealant upkeep, or either/or?

Hmmm ... I have recently started using 425 over Pinnacle Signature Series (my favoite carnauba :bigups) & I don't get any streaking. I think I'm using it the sam way you are, so I don't know what the difference could be.

I have been considering buying some 108 and/or 317.

If you have used either, can you offer some info on these?

Not to join the crowd, but the only thing I don't like about 425 is the fact that they turn my nice MFs red. Not that big a deal. I think it washes out.
