I've been using this QD for a month now, it blows away Quickshine,#34 Final Inspection this stuff is addictive. Sat. I purchased gallon size for my craving hopefully this will last me awhile. FK1 rules!
 
Another fan of #425 here, but I have to say #34 is a different kind of QD, so they shouldn't really be compared.
 
Do you use #425 after each buffing step - if so does it improve the finish like quikshine does

When I first tried their wash, I was disappointed because it was thin, and it had low lubricity.



However, it provides SERIOUS cleaning power! So, the balance is sound. No disappointment! :D
 
I noticed I am getting a little streaking with 425 over my Pinnacle Sig. I'm using about a half a squirt per panel, buffing immediately with a Cobra Super Plush. It sure does leave a shiny finish, though. I'm not giving up on it that easy.



Anyone know if 425 is geared more towards carnauba or sealant upkeep, or either/or?
 
Now take that 425 to a carnuba wax finish that is ready for a new coat. MIST a very small amount on one or two panels at a time. Take you favorite carnuba (mine is sourveran) and apply on a micro soft pad and wax into car finish. Then buff it off and move on.



Now you have MDRX8's spit shine method. Really works!!!!

Yeah, I agree. #34 is still my go-to product for wiping down panels between polishing steps.

Tyler, the 425 works excellent with both, and targeted for both because the Pink/216/FX-100 contain carnauba, and the 1000P/2180/215/218 are fully synthetics.



I tried over NXT Paste, #21, Sonax Xtreme1 Carnauba paste, TWPUG, Victoria Wax Concours/Collectors/Cruising, 1Z Glanz, CL LLS (aka JWAJ) & Collinite 845/885. Worked beautifully.

If you order 5 gallons, does it come as 5 separate gallon jugs or one 5 gallon bucket?



It appears to be flat rate shipping of $4.99 and no tax in Californiana.
 
SpoiledMan, are you saying you have ordered and not been charged sales tax? I'm only going by what the bottles say (CA) and my recollection of what the shipping containers said (AZ). Oddly enough, the packing list doesn't list any address at all, just like the website. Perhaps a little sleight of hand to avoid having to charge tax.

What does this do that is any different than applying via normal method.
