Does anyone have any experience with this product? I have a small, sample tin of it and was wondering how well it works. I just finished spit shining several applications of PS and don't want to start over just to see how the FK1 works. Anyone using it?

1000P is nothing short of fantastic. It’s super slick, high-gloss, hard candy shine, great depth, and tough like an M1 tank :xyxthumbs

The only caution I make is watch molding and trim. Though it does not contain cleaning agents, it can cause minor staining depending on condition (test in inconspicuous area). Finally, like most products be sure to apply as thinly as possible. Buildup can be a PITA.

Enjoy. This product can be layered for ultimate depth and reflection.

Have not tried it yet, but will most likey buy some later in the year. I've heard good things about it. Do have some Pink Wax though, but have not got to it yet.

Maybe the best out there...Equal to or better than Marquis ( Collinite's top of the line)

Paste wax on steriods!

The stuff seems hard as a rock in the tin, is that the way it's supposed to be?

(well not really as hard as a rock but harder then any other wax I have)

It can be hard . . . though considering you have the sample tin, simply pop it out and spread on your finishing pad or applicator.

1000P is slick and looks nice but I prefer PW myself. Haven't tested its durability.

Does anyone else have the same problem I do with securing the lid back on?

Yes, you’re right . . . at times it seems finicky. Much like a can of paint, I’ll hammer it back with a small mallet.

One of the best for sure. I love it. Excells on light colors. For ultimate protection (if you don't wax often) apply 2180 & layer 1000 a few times for the longest lasting protection.

FK1 products are as good as you can get. m2c

I got the sample tin of this with my last #425 order. I have been using it on the chrome exhaust pipes on my motorcycle. Works great there and should stand up to some serious heat... the tin says 250 degrees Farenheit and up!

agreed :up . i really like and enjoy using FK425 (gonna buy a gallon and soon as my other supply runs out), PW, and recently added 1000P... :D

2 coats of 1000P over Danase Wet Glaze is the way to go. I absolutely love the stuff. As mentioned above it does well on high heat items, I put several coats on my summer wheels throughout the winter.
