Is slick what you look at and see ???

Heh heh, might not be what I *see*, but it's still one of the characteristics I value most highly :D

..and a lot of people love 1000p

(I have not had a change to try it)..

I had a little sample jar sitting on the shelf for years, just didn't pique my interest for some reason. Then, after hearing everybody rave about it here, I tried it out on some wheels- WOW! Looks very nice and is really, really slick.

I know, I know, using it on a couple sets of wheels isn't much of an evaluation, but I was so impressed that I bought a can to try on, uhm...I dunno...*some* vehicle. With my cases of #16 and 476S and all my other LSPs, when something new impresses me enough to buy a can, well, that's saying something ;)

Well, don't hold your breath ;)

You know how awful I am about getting around to using new stuff (my ETG, the CR Spotless, my Edge wool pads, etc. etc.) to begin with, and all my ready-to-LSP vehicles are currently doing great with other stuff.

I gotta figure out which vehicle will look best with what I expect from the FK1000p, and then see when that needs re-LSPed. And I gotta figure out if the FK1000p is finicky about what it goes on top of.

Yeah...I needed to get all excited about a new LSP like I need a hole in the head :o

With regards to FK1000p, I tried it out over CG Wet Mirror Finish last weekend, on my black paint. Tremendous gloss & slickness. It looked terrifc after application. Even better after 2 days of curing. The gloss factor seemed to improve a bit. Very easy to use.

TBH, I *really* think that OID outperforums 425.

*For me* it does not streak whatsoever, it is an absolute breeze to use, and the slickness and gloss are immediate and very rewarding. Now, I haven't used 425 in nearly a year, but I *seriously* do not remember being anywhere near as impressed as I was with OID.

Don't get me wrong, 425 is a very fine product, but I am surprised that so many think that it outdoes OID.

My $0.02.
