Fixing your pads (tip inside)

I've seen quite a few topics in the past about fixing pads that have the velcro seperating. The biggest question is usually what kind of glue to use to fix it. Well here's what I did and it worked great.

Gorilla Glue. You can get it at walmart. I just glued the velcro back to the pad with Gorilla Glue and tossed a heavy book on top of the pad (over the velcro) and let it sit overnight. It glued it together really storng. It does make the back of the pad a little stiff, but affects the use none. The pad has since been through half a dozen machine washes without the slightest hint of seperating again.

Just thought I'd share in case it helps anybody out. Quick and easy fix.

I have used Gorilla glue a few times in the past few years the fix velcro's..another good one is Weldbond Adhesive....its seems a little more flexible than gorilla glue and does not expand like it also....even NASA uses Weldbond..

Weldbond is:

* Non-flammable, non-toxic & dries clear

* Unmatched as a primer for porous surfaces

* Highly water-resistant & impervious to petroleum, oil, grease, salt, moulds and fungi, alkali's & weak acids.

* Withstands all climatic conditions after curing

* Non-staining and will not become brittle with age

* Highly concentrated, can be mixed with water and used a a sealer for many surfaces.

* Tested and approved by CMHC for use in National Housing Act Construction

* Used by Nasa for Escape Suites on space shuttle flights

very good product
