Fixing the work of my "competition" *56K* no no

EBPcivicsi

GOT PREP?
Both of these cars were done by the same local “detailer. This guy told the customer that all black vehicles will look like this after a detail and that all detailers were the samehe invited her back if she could have the swirls removed.

Oddly enough, no one else in town would attempt the workshe was referred to me by two of the “detailers who turned the work down.

These types of details really bring me satisfaction. The ladies who own these cars (mother and daughter) were so embarrassed by the swirls on the paint that they would not drive the cars. They were grinning from ear to ear when they picked the cars upthey thought that no one would be able to remove the swirls from their cars.

Both cars had cerami-clear and took a little time to find the right combo.

Here’s the next one—same process:

They also damaged the wheels. Both cars had these marks in *every* space between the spokes.

Ouch. Metal reinforcement wire in the brush they used?

Exactly what I was thinking--all of the bristles have been shed leaving the wire exposed. Makes you wonder how someone could do that, huh? It's job security for me. :D

Holy crap. Note to self: Never dip a buffing pad in gravel then use it on a black Merc; it doesn't work very well.

Awesome turnaround . . . I wish I had that kind of skill with a rotary.

Were the mom and daughter hot?

I wonder what type of excuse your comptetion has as to why or how you were able to remove what they obviously could NOT.

Great job

Thanks guys!!

Same thing i wanted to know

They just told her that if they were to detail it that it would still look like that. Thankfully, they were persistent and just knew that it didn't have to look like that.
