Fixing Hack Jobbers Work

The defect level is nearly non-existent...as it should be for $500, but still.

Great work bringing it to a showroom (minus prep :P) shine.

Damn Steve, just an unreal transformation! :bow

Honestly, you are probably the 17-year-old detailer period...and based on what I've seen you do, you are definitely an elite detailer even by autopia standards. :)

Made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I need it cause I'm workin on a heap right now. :( :funnypost

Thanks everyone for the very nice comments.

What I really don't get the Evo wing and vortex generator on a Lancer... That is just trying too hard to make the car something it's not. Plus, they're used to generate down force for traction on the rear wheels.. something that doesn't matter for a FWD car.

Yet no one questions all the riced out honda's around here when they drive by roaring at only 2krpm and have a 2 foot high sheet of aluminum on the trunk.

Tell me about it. I'd take this thing. For a automatic, 4 banger, it drives pretty nice from what I saw moving it around on the driveway.

Yeah I'm not into any motors that small... but if I were to choose between a black lancer w/ an evo wing, or a lime green rattle-canned civic w/ 30 stickers, an aluminum wing, a huge fartcan, and a partially home-painted interior... I'd take the lancer. Car #2 is a good description of some of the stuff I actually see in my city on a regular basis. Sick.
