'Fish scale' marks on my silver car?!

Hi,



I have a silver car bought just last Feb 01. I polished and waxed it using Turtlewax products initially (sometime in Mar). Later I changed to Autoglym products.



I am not sure it I did it wrongly or was the product problem or the car issue. But I notice patches on my car top and hood/boot surface, much like fish scales. Not sure if you call those water marks. Not quite noticeable but still bothers me.



How can I remove those patches/marks away? Thanks.
 
The term for these areas is Orange Peel. A search of the archives would provide more information but basically it's just roughness in the coat caused by bad painting or not wetsanding an area. All cars probably have it somewhere....
