first time using the pc.. first time using RC & glaze.. i use to do my polishes and wax by hand..

this is the main reason I went ahead an purchased my PC (Lowes $99)

my mothers rav4 paint was nasty.. there was no reflection in the hood.. ? it must have been something that the body shop did because this car has had front end damage in the past..

but yea.. the paint was horrible.. look :(

well even though it was my first time.. i think i am starting to get the hang of it..

propel pads.. (thnx patrick @ excel)

3M RC Fine - Orange (speed 3,5)

3M Finesse It (speed 3,6) Green then Blue (speed 3,6)

Hand Wax with Meg Gold Class..

in conclusion.. very worth the investment and it was a great learning experience.. and improvment over what it was :)

the hood was the worst (pictures speak for themselves).. and through out the car it just had some light oxidination..

its like micro orange peel on the clear or something :( - btw its not the camera focus.. as you can see the wipers are focused.. before

i would post more pictures. but my server is maxing out :(

this was a 2 week process since I only can do it in the weekend..

just finished today 03-18-05 & it starts raining . :(

imageshack.us free image hosting even gives you the HTML code to copy and past just picture size cant be over 1 mb

i actually do think the first one is the focus though maybe it was having a hard time focusing on the reflection? cause in the other pics it looks like a more defined reflection

still looks good because its clean and shiny

i was just lookin at ur speeds u can bump it up to about 4.5 then when u got to polish it off right at the last kick it up to 6 with just the weight of the PC to polish it off really nice

3 to spread the polish, 4 1/2-5 to work the product, and 6 to make sure the product is completely broken down and to buff to a high gloss.

koo.. i'll give it a shot next week when the weather clears :)

working progress pictures..

the lower part is being worked on.. the top is untouched..

I don't know. It almost looks like some stubborn oxidation might be left over. Try the suggestions that were previously given and lets see what's left after that.
