First Time Help?

Tomorrow will be my first time detailing using all of my new products and I have a few question.

1) I have never used a clay bar and was wondering what the best method to use was. I will be using Z18 and can either follow the Zaino instructions and use Z7 as lube or I have a bottle of Megs QD. Which should I use?

2) Do I need to spray a little QD on my Sonus DAS and Propel Pads before applying any IP/FPII on them?

3) After using IP and FPII do I need to use water/alcohol before applying Zaino or do I need to wash the car again?

Thanks for the help!

1. Any QD will work. It does not matter, as long as there is enough lubrication.

2. Some QD or just a mist of water will help the pad from scratching while dry.

3. No they have no fillers or oils so just apply.

1) Car wash & water is the cheapest lube you can get! :xyxthumbs

2) I don't think it's required to spray QD on your pads but it is highly recommended. I always do one shot before I apply product to my pad for each 2' x 2' section.

Hope this helped.
