Thanks for the complement . I've been poking around autopia for a month or so now before I got around to actually doing this stuff.
Constructive criticism noted, I'll be getting some caranuba wax in the next couple days, and eventually some kind of polish. Now the kind of polish.... hoo boy... Got any recommendations? DACP seems popular around here.
I would prefer stuff that I could find over the counter
nice job. any pictures of your accord in the bright sun? (or is my computer monitor off? ) that looks like nice blue.
and what did you use for the tires? i like that look.
depending on the paint defects you have (swirls, scratches, etc) will determine which polish to get. another suggestion, before topping it with a caranuba and if you haven't done so already, apply another coat of NXT. it is suggested 12 hours after the first, or if that is not possible, 1 hour. but i am assuming 12 hours have past. and then wait 24 hours before putting on the caranuba wax. and then post more pictures! i know, demanding, huh?

I'll get sun pics as soon as it gets sunny. It was rather cloudy when I finished, and getting late.
And I didnt use any tire dressing actually, just used Eagle One A2Z to clean it up.
Hmm.... I better get some more nXt then, to do another coat. I got the nXt as a free sample from a car show, barely enough to wax the car all the way .
Man, it means a lot getting complements from you autopians . I'm really glad I found this forum

it's not necessary to do another coat, more of a recommendation. i would say get it if you are happy with it and aren't thinking of trying out different things. but, if you do want to try out different products, ah, wait. one thing with autopia is you see so many different products and the nice results they give, that you want to get all of them and end up spending a ton of money! :scared
and autopians are a nice bunch until you improperly touch our cars!
very nice starting combo. How is the Auto Dry thing working out for you?
As for suggestions....
There are "basically" two types of polishes. Ones that do a lot of cutting, and ones that hardly do anything at all, but really add to the shine. I would recommend the second one to start off.
Suggestions are.... 1z MP, ClearKoat VM, Poorboys PwC, and many others that I cant think of now... those are some of my favorites though. Follow with Nxt or what ever wax you want and you will be set.
Ha, you saw it eh? When not using the soap, its not the greatest at leaving a spotless dry BUT its great for soap dispensing. Rinse, soak mitt, spray soap on car, wipe, rinse mitt, wipe more, etc... Its just easier than using a bucket for soap I think.
And when I'm thirsty just set it to filtered water and spray in my mouth
