First time at the pc

Well I did it. I took the plunge and made a go at the pc.
First I wash with some Dawn and dried with waffle weave mf. This thing works awsome. Have to get few more of them.

Clayed with claymagic

Washed with NXt

SSr2.5 with orange pad

SSr1 with polishing pad

Vm with finish pad

I then wiped the car off and I will say this. The Altima never look so good. Not even when it came out the dealers lot with twenty miles on it. The color looks darker and the reflections are off the wall. All I can say it looks like candy. I didn't have the energy to finish it. Here is a pic of it without sealer or wax. Dear old dad showed up and had to give his car a quick wash. Will go back to the Altima tommorrow. Is this going to get even better. Could be addictive this shine. Well here is one pic. The tires look clean and haven't even put dressing on them. Pops and my brother were like. Man that looks good. What wax are you using. I told them there is no wax on it yet. Thanks all for the info.

Good work :) yes it is supposed to look great before your LSP...that's what polishing is all about...sounds like you took to the PC very well:hippi

Looks great!

Yep, when you get your paint prep process down to the point where the LSP (wax) does little (yes something - but little) for the final look......... then you're "cookin"!

If you wait more than a day before waxing, I would reapply the VM beforehand. Glazes don't last very long, even in a protected environment such as a garage.

Almost forgot... it looks amazing. That color really pops out.

Hi I'm mix300 and I am a detail addict. I just finish detailing the altima and all I can say is wow. Oh and thanks to all that gave the advice.

This is the ruby red with one coat of EX-P.
