First real detail! (modest 4runner)

Well, over the past several days (only 'bout 1.5 hours of daylight after 5pm nowadays) I've managed to clean my 02 4runner up a bit.



Definitely learned a ton from all of your wonderful advice, and looking forward to many more years of detailing! :bounce



Only able to snap 2 good pics before the sun started to set over my house. sorry :( Here's what I used:



GC wash, ClayMagic clay

DACP (yellow pad)

#9 (white pad)

#7

S100



Not the best, but if there were no room for improvement, where would the fun be?

thanks for all the nice comments! Yes, the trees have indeed changed (in fact, will probably peak in another week or two) and this part of ohio is quite beautiful this time of year.



the tires i used meguiars high endurance (gloss), but wiped down to be matte.



it's an SR5, sport edition, but everything ordered in black (black pearl emblems, running boards, fender flares). i was kinda picky about everything being black :) 02 was the only model year that they changed the "highlander" to the "sport model" -- some toyota thing i guess...
