First polishing experience with the Flex 3401

Thank you. :)

It took me 14-16 hours overall (including 2 very long SIP passes).

How does the cutting power of #95 compare to #105? I really want to get rid of all the remaining scratches.

And how does #95 compare to SIP?

Thank you. :wavey

M105 and M95 have very similar cutting power. M105 is hard to use, M95 is easy. Both have way, way, *way* more cutting power than SIP.

if thats your first time with the flex you are my hero.. :) excellent result... but how was that car maintained, i mean I didn't have swirls like that on mu 87 volvo 240 turbo :P

glad to see you bought the sheepskin washmitt :P

Hehehehe thank you!

The car spent almost a year in the dirt (construction area) without the 2 buckets method (and sometimes no bucket at all :wall). That's why there are so many swirls.

The sheepskin washmitt is still like new. I can't approximate the # of washes.

I've tried the M95 + purple foamed wool pad tonight and WOW! THIS was the product missing to my collection for the 100% perfect job.

1. Initial picture of the worst area on the car. This is after 2 heavy passes of SIP which clearly didn't remove the scratches.

Thanks for the advices!!! The result is way above my expectations.

Another example, where I spent over 100 hours under the hood without any protection on the fender. These are pretty deep scratches that the SIP couldn't take care of.

This is a quick test job without any sealant/wax, with some minor marring remaining.
